Saffron

Dried stigmas obtained from the flowers of Crocus Sativus L. They have an intense violet color with a regular, trumpet-like shape. Slightly bitter taste and a strong characteristic aroma. When mixed with water, they produce a transparent yellow color and a delicate saffron flavor.

Its delicate bitterness, fragrant aroma, and yellow color pair well with white fish (cod, hake, etc.), poultry, and desserts. It is commonly used in béchamel-type sauces, creams, soups, and syrups made from sweet or acidic berries. It also combines perfectly with dairy products, yogurt, and ice cream.

TYPES: Coupé, Mancha, Rio & Sierra.

Oleoresins

Dark, intense red oily liquid with a light characteristic paprika aroma, obtained through the extraction of sweet peppers of the Capsicum annuum L. genus and the subsequent distillation of the solvent.

E-number: E-160-C

APPLICATION: Commonly used in the meat industry, soups, egg-yolk pigmentation, soft drinks, desserts, preserves, cosmetics, pharmaceutical industry, etc. It provides a bright, uniform, and stable red color with a slight paprika flavor.

TYPES:
Oleosoluble – Soluble in oils and fats. Concentrations up to 140,000 U.C.
Hydrosoluble – Soluble in aqueous solutions. Concentrations up to 70,000 U.C.

PACKAGING:
0.5 kg, 1 kg, 5 kg, 25 kg, 200 kg, 850 kg net in new metal drums with internal epoxy coating, or 5 kg net plastic bottles. (Other sizes and types available upon request)
